The Westfield-Washington Historical Society in Westfield Indiana will teach you anything you want to know about Westfield’s history. History is a wonderful learning tool and we must protect and keep our past. A Westfield-Washington Township historical museum is in the works and the community supports the project. The historical society was formed in 1997.
The historical society feels it is very important to preserve the past. They feel that historical societies ignite our imaginations and teach us respect for our past accomplishments. We must grow from our past mistakes and exceed our past accomplishments. The historical society offers, frequent meetings, education programs, and many events. It is important to the society that we learn and celebrate history.Become a member of the Westfield-Historical Society for a very small yearly fee or commit to a sponsorship level. You can print a sponsorship from off of their website and return it with your dues or submit the form on-line. Contributions to the society are tax deductible. Your membership will include the opportunity to network with people who have a common interest in history, newsletters, and recognition. Some of the current sponsors are Annual Little Eagle Creek, Union Bible College and Academy, and Hal Montgomery.Their meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month. These meetings take place at the town hall in Westfield, IN off of 130 Penn Street.
