The listing fee paid to msWoods Real Estate for representing you in the sale of your home is 5-6 %.
We recommend msWoods clients offer a 3-3.5% selling agent fee. This is the fee paid to the agent who brings the buyer. This makes your total commission 5-6% of the sales price of your home.

Purchsing a home

If you are purchasing a home, we offer a cash closing gift after you have purchased a home with msWoods.

 

What is a listing fee?

The listing fee is the fee you ( the seller) pay to the realtor who lists your home. This realtor represents you in the sale of your home, markets your home to other realtors and their buyers, as well as the public in general. You will save you thousands on realtor fees with msWoods!

What is a selling fee?

The selling fee is the fee paid to the realtor who brings the buyer to your home. If you are a buyer, it is the fee your realtor receives when they represent you in the purchase of your home. 

When you purchase a home, what can you do with your closing gift?

Your closing gift is paid to you at closing. If you are financing your home purchase, it can typically go directly toward closing costs, reducing the amount of cash you need to close your transaction. If you are paying cash, it can go for moving expenses, new furniture, or a cash credit at closing.

When do  you get your closing gift?

Within seven business days after your closing date.

Do you have to buy a house listed with msWoods Real Estate to get the closing gift?

No, msWoods will offer a cash closing gift on any home you purchase listed in the Indiana Multiple Listing Service, in addition to our listings.
Does the buyer for my home need to come from an msWoods agent?

Not at all, we want to sell your hom as quickly as possible for the best possible price. Any realtor can bring a buyer and it does not affect your listing fee.

If  you sell your home with msWoods and you purchase a home with msWoods, do I save on both transactions?

Absolutely. You will pay only a 1-6% listing fee on the sale of your home, And, we will offer the closing gift on the purchase of your new home.

If I list my house with msWoods and an msWoods Realtor brings the buyer for my home, do I get both discounts?

No, the buyer of your home gets the rebate on the selling fee. However, if you buy your new home through msWoods, you will get the cash closing gift.
